सानुज सखा समेत मगन मन। बिसरे हरष सोक सुख दुख गन॥ पाहि नाथ कहि पाहि गोसाईं। भूतल परे लकुट की नाईं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sānuj sakhā sameta magana mana। bisare haraṣa soka sukha dukha gana॥ pāhi nātha kahi pāhi gosāīṁ। bhūtala pare lakuṭa kī nāīṁ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
With his younger brother and friend, Bharat’s mind became absorbed [in love]. He forgot all the groups of joy and sorrow, pleasure and pain. Crying, “O Lord, protect me! O Gosain, protect me!” he fell upon the earth like a staff.
