सचिव आगमनु सुनत सबु बिकल भयउ रनिवासु। भवनु भयंकरु लाग तेहि मानहुँ प्रेत निवासु॥ १४७ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
saciva āgamanu sunata sabu bikala bhayau ranivāsu। bhavanu bhayaṃkaru lāga tehi mānahũ preta nivāsu॥ 147 ॥
Meaning
Hearing that the minister had come alone, the entire inner palace became distressed. The royal residence appeared to him so dreadful that it seemed like the abode of ghosts.
