रघुबर कहेउ लखन भल घाटू। करहु कतहुँ अब ठाहर ठाटू॥ लखन दीख पय उतर करारा। चहुँ दिसि फिरेउ धनुष जिमि नारा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
raghubara kaheu lakhan bhal ghāṭū। karahu katahūṁ aba ṭhāhara ṭhāṭū॥ lakhan dīkh paya utara karārā। cahūṁ disi phireu dhanuṣa jimi nārā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Rama said, “Lakshmana, this is a very good landing place. Make arrangements to stay here somewhere now.” Then Lakshmana saw the high northern bank of the Payasvini River and said, “A ditch runs all around it like a bow.”
