पुत्रवती जुबती जग सोई। रघुपति भगतु जासु सुतु होई॥ नतरु बाँझ भलि बादि बिआनी। राम बिमुख सुत तें हित जानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
putravatī jubatī jaga soī। raghupati bhagatu jāsu sutu hoī॥ nataru bāṃjha bhali bādi biānī। rāma bimukha suta teṃ hita jānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
In this world, that woman alone is truly blessed with a son whose child is a devotee of Shri Raghunath. Otherwise, better barren than one who thinks her welfare lies in a son turned away from Ram; giving birth in that case is useless, like an animal's calving.
