प्रथम जाइ जिन्ह बचन सुनाए। भूषन बसन भूरि तिन्ह पाए॥ प्रेम पुलकि तन मन अनुरागीं। मंगल कलस सजन सब लागीं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
prathama jāi jinha bacana sunāe। bhūṣana basana bhūri tinha pāe॥ prema pulaki tana mana anurāgīṃ। maṃgala kalasa sajana saba lāgīṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Those who first went and delivered the news received many ornaments and garments. The queens were thrilled with love, their bodies shivering with joy, and their minds filled with devotion. They all began preparing the auspicious pots.
