मुदित महीपति मंदिर आए। सेवक सचिव सुमंत्रु बोलाए॥ कहि जयजीव सीस तिन्ह नाए। भूप सुमंगल बचन सुनाए॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
mudita mahīpati maṃdira āe। sevaka saciva sumaṃtru bolāe॥ kahi jayajīva sīsa tinha nāe। bhūpa sumaṃgala bacana sunāe॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The king, delighted, came to the palace and called the servants and the minister Sumantra. They bowed their heads saying, “Jayajiva.” Then the king spoke auspicious words, proposing that Rama be installed as crown prince.
