मातु तात कहँ देहि देखाई। कहँ सिय रामु लखनु दोउ भाई॥ कैकइ कत जनमी जग माझा। जौं जनमि त भइ काहे न बाँझा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
mātu tāta kahaṃ dehi dekhāī। kahaṃ siya rāmu lakhanu dou bhāī॥ kai kai kata janamī jaga mājhā। jauṃ janami ta bhai kāhe na bāñjhā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Mother! Where is Father? Show him to me. Where are Sita, Rama, and the two brothers Lakshmana? Show them to me. Why was Kaikeyi born into this world? And if she was born, why did she not remain barren?
