करइ स्वामि हित सेवकु सोई। दूषन कोटि देइ किन कोई॥ अस बिचारि सुचि सेवक बोले। जे सपनेहुँ निज धरम न डोले॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
karai svāmi hita sevaku soī। dūṣana koṭi dei kina koī॥ asa bicāri suci sevaka bole। je sapanehuṃ nija dharama na ḍole॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
A servant is one who works for the master's welfare, no matter how many faults someone may point out. Reflecting thus, Bharata called trustworthy servants who had never wavered from their duty, even in dreams.
