कैकेई भव तनु अनुरागे। पावँर प्रान अघाइ अभागे॥ जौं प्रिय बिरहँ प्रान प्रिय लागे। देखब सुनब बहुत अब आगे॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaikēī bhava tanu anurāgē। pāṃvara prāna aghāi abhāgē॥ jauṃ priya birahaṃ prāna priya lāgē। dēkhaba sunaba bahuta aba āgē॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
These wretched, lowly lives, which have loved the body born of Kaikeyi, are unfortunate to the full. When, even in separation from the beloved, life still feels dear to me, then I shall yet see and hear much more ahead.
