जोगवहिं प्रभु सिय लखनहि कैसें। पलक बिलोचन गोलक जैसें॥ सेवहिं लखनु सीय रघुबीरहि। जिमि अबिबेकी पुरुष सरीरहि॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jogavahiṃ prabhu siya lakhanahi kaiseṃ। palaka bilocana golaka jaiseṃ॥ sevahiṃ lakhanu sīya raghubīrahi। jimi abibekī puruṣa sarīrahi॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Just as the eyelids guard the eyeballs, the Lord carefully protects Sita and Lakshmana. And Lakshmana serves Sita and Raghubir just as an unwise person tends to his own body.
