गुर पितु मातु बंधु सुर साईं। सेइअहिं सकल प्रान की नाईं॥ रामु प्रानप्रिय जीवन जी के। स्वारथ रहित सखा सबही के॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
guru pitu mātu baṃdhu sura sāīṃ। seiahiṃ sakala prāna kī nāīṃ॥ rāmu prānapriya jīvana jī ke। svāratha rahita sakhā sabahī ke॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Guru, father, mother, kinsman, gods, and lord—each should be served as one serves life itself. Shri Ram is dearer than life, the life of all, and the selfless friend of everyone.
