एहि बिधि बासर बीते चारी। रामु निरखि नर नारि सुखारी॥ दुहु समाज असि रुचि मन माहीं। बिनु सिय राम फिरब भल नाहीं॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ehi bidhi bāsara bīte cārī। rāmu nirakhi nara nāri sukhārī॥ duhu samāja asi ruci mana māhīṃ। binu siya rāma phiraba bhala nāhīṃ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

In this way four days passed. Men and women were delighted simply by seeing Rama. In both assemblies there arose such a feeling that it would not be good to return without Sita and Rama.
