देह दिनहुँ दिन दूबरि होई। घटइ तेजु बलु मुखछबि सोई॥ नित नव राम प्रेम पनु पीना। बढ़त धरम दलु मनु न मलीना॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
deha dinahuṃ dina dūbari hoī। ghaṭai teju balu mukhachabi soī॥ nita nava rāma prema panu pīnā। baḍhata dharama dalu manu na malīnā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Bharata’s body grows leaner day by day. His vitality diminishes, but his strength and the beauty of his face remain unchanged. His vow of ever-fresh love for Rama grows stronger; the army of dharma increases, and his mind remains unstained.
