चतुर गँभीर राम महतारी। बीचु पाइ निज बात सँवारी॥ पठए भरतु भूप ननिअउरें। राम मातु मत जानब रउरें॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

catura gaṃbhīra rāma mahatārī। bīcu pāi nija bāta saṃvārī॥ paṭhaye bharatu bhūpa nani'aureṃ। rāma mātu mata jānaba raureṃ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Rama's mother (Kaushalya) is wise and profound; no one can fathom her. She seized the opportunity and arranged her own plan. As for the king sending Bharata to his maternal home, you should understand it as Rama's mother's counsel alone.
