बेचहिं बेदु धरमु दुहि लेहीं। पिसुन पराय पाप कहि देहीं॥ कपटी कुटिल कलहप्रिय क्रोधी। बेद बिदूषक बिस्व बिरोधी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bechahiṃ bedu dharamu duhi lehīṃ। pisuna parāya pāpa kahi dehīṃ॥ kapaṭī kuṭila kalahapriya krodhī। beda bidūṣaka bisva birodhī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Those who sell the Vedas, milk out religion for their own gain, are slanderers, and speak of others’ sins; those who are deceitful, crooked, quarrelsome, and angry, and those who mock the Vedas and oppose the world;
