अस कहि सीय बिकल भइ भारी। बचन बियोगु न सकी सँभारी॥ देखि दसा रघुपति जियँ जाना। हठि राखें नहिं राखिहि प्राना॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
asa kahi sīya bikala bhaī bhārī। bacanu biyogu na sakī saṃbhārī॥ dekhi dasā raghupati jiyaṃ jānā। haṭhi rākhẽ nahiṃ rākhihi prānā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Having said this, Sita became greatly distressed. She could not even bear the thought of being separated from his words. Seeing her condition, Shri Raghunathji understood in his heart that if she were kept here by force, she would not preserve her life.
